Introduction

Many years ago, there was a pachinko parlor. It wasn't a very modern parlor, and most of the people who went there were quite old, they were the regulars at the parlor and had been coming there for many years. It was a sort of meeting place for them. Pachinko was there of course, and if somebody won then they were pleased, but it was secondary. Some of the men who came there had been coming all their lives, one or two were at least seventy five, maybe more. Only one young man used to regularly go to this particular parlour, he was called Jun Suzuki, but like most people in the parlor he had been given a nickname...
