The Wood Cutter, a fantasy set in olden days

Introduction

Once upon a time, in the forest, lived a lonely woodcutter. He wasn't very well off, had very little food, and very few possessions. Although he worked as hard as he could, but no matter how hard he worked, he couldn't improve his life very much. 'Perhaps it was because most of the good wood in the forest was gone, or perhaps it wasn't there in the first place' the woodcutter had thought many times.
